In April 2025 I was commissioned by Wiltshire Swain architects to produce images for a new mental health facility at the Port Noarlunga Hospital. The brief was three themes across three floors of the hospital. Salt Water, Fresh Water and the Onkaparinga Basin. Below is a selection of the images used…hills, vines, gorges and beaches of the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.
Annual Winter Porter Extraveganza
For the second year running, Allan, Ben and i headed into the South Australian outback for a winter weekend to indulge our shadow selves. We were lucky enought to be joined by Dave and newest brother, Dingo.
Once again, we explored the desert by buggy and 4x4, coming across a myriad of animals, birds, gems and crystals, and enjoyed moonless night skys by the fire.
Covering ground by bus, bike and foot
Passionate photographer, father and friend, Che Chorley is in the middle of one hell of a journey. He is currently riding his bike along the South Australian coast, from the Western Australian border to Victoria. Che has charged himself with the task of documenting the coast and people that call it home, and is producing a book with all he discovers at the end of the trip. I managed to get some time off work and took Tina on a 2000km round trip to meet Che on the Eyre Peninsula. We spent our time exploring the peninsula, hiking up South Australia's 239th highest mountain, swimming in crystal clear oceans and chasing beautiful spring light.
You can follow Che's trip via his blog.
Deep Creek
Early August, I took Tina, our bus, down Deep Creek. It was stormy and miserable for most of the weekend, but when the rain eased, i managed to fire off a couple of frames
Outback South Australia
In June, i hopped in the truck for a taste of the outback with a couple of blokes from the Porter Clan. Here's what i saw...
New Zealand
Kyra, Myself and two other mates went to New Zealand in October 2015.
We spent a couple of weeks driving the south island in a camper van, before finishing up in Queenstown for a friend's wedding.
